Training
ROI provides a cost-effective and tailored approach to system
training for customer personnel based on our previous experience in
providing turnkey systems. Training includes instruction about system
installation, system operation, troubleshooting and repair, and
preventive maintenance. An integral part of fielding the reconnaissance
system is the direct training by ROI of customer cadre personnel, who in
turn train and supervise the remaining the customer personnel. ROI’s
staff of experienced and highly skilled field service personnel provides
direct training which is a combination of classroom training and
on-the-job training (OJT), using a task oriented methodology. All
required operation and maintenance tasks are listed in the task
proficiency guide (TPG). When each individual student has successfully
completed each assigned task, the instructor signs off the task in the
TPG.
ROI sources all training information in the technical manuals and
other verifiable technical data. Extensive use of the technical manuals
during training serves two purposes. First, it gives the students an
opportunity to become familiar with the manuals and the level of detail
provided in each. Second, it provides another opportunity to validate
the content and accuracy of the manuals. This process not only increases
the effectiveness of the training, it also ensures the manuals are
complete and accurate by first deployment.
